Some days are hard, some days are even harder than those days. Sometimes we choose to keep the sad inside and not let others know how rough the day has been. I think that's ok, sometimes we just need those moments for ourselves. To be present in our grief and to know that it's more than ok to miss you (let's face it you're kind of a big deal). From your sparkling blue eyes, thick blonde hair, the little freckles across your cheeks and nose, the way you were able to make people chuckle and oh girl, the sass; every last bit of it is unforgettable.
As much as I think it's ok to be present in our grief, I know that you are celebrating our successes with us in your own way. Can't help but think you've had a little hand in a few things happening lately and those yellow butterflies always make me smile. We are doing our best to make you proud each and every day. We are trying to live life with the sass, strength and stubbornness that makes you so unforgettable.
